Making A Donation

To help those in need, Neighbors International Foundation counts on donations from members of our communities. While we always need money contributions to provide direct aid, we also ask for donations of those things that sometimes matter most to those in need.

Anything you can give will be appreciated, but if you can, we ask you to:

Contribute money
Contribute your time as a volunteer
Contribute specific items we may need such as food or toys

We often seek donations for specific projects, such as disaster relief, providing comfort to our troops overseas, or helping a local family cope with difficult times. You can check the Wish List page to see what our current needs are.

Contributing Money

Please be generous and give what you can. We accept checks and credit card donations. For your tax purposes, our tax ID# is 20-2738899.

To make a credit card donation, click on the Donate button on the left hand side of this page. A new window will open, taking you to PayPal. This is a very secure and reputable way to make a donation to The Neighbors International Foundation. You do not need a PayPal account to use this service.

If you'd prefer, you can call us at 703.759.2102, or just stop by our offices. We'll be happy to process your credit card donation by phone or in person.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have many volunteer opportunities available. Some of the things we need your help with include:

Helping collect, box and distribute care packages
Delivering meals to local families that are coping with illness or other hardships
Helping out at our office to organize and put into action our community projects
We have many opportunities for kids to get involved

Donating Specific Items

We often collect specific items for our many community projects. Although we appreciate your generosity in these sorts of contributions, please make sure you know what items we are specifically are collecting, so that we can best serve those in need.
Some examples of the sort of items we collect are:

Care package items for our soldiers - toiletries, DVD's, current magazines, snack items
Clothes, household supplies, and personal items for Katrina victims
Beanie Babies to give some joy to the children of Iraq and Afghanistan
Toys for Children's Hospital

You can check the Wish List page to see what our current needs are. Items can be dropped off at our office.
